Our Private Duty Care Services are available to Independent Living Residents, allowing them to live in their unit or casita longer with ease, comfort, dignity and security.

The essence of our Home Health program is to provide quality care in the home. Home is where most people find the strength to cope with illness or the normal occurrences of aging. Our services provide support to help people remain at their home at Taos Retirement Village.

If you or a loved one is facing illness, injury or gradually declining health, the Home Health services make remaining in your residence a viable option by bringing vital services into your home. Taos Retirement Village works with you and your family to develop a medical plan tailored to your specific needs. Services include medication management, showering, safety checks and more.

(Service includes assistance with walking to and from various locations on campus)

Hourly Care $22.95/hour
(Includes companion care, reminders for tasks and other cognitive assurance, escorts on campus or off, additional housekeeping). Minimum 2 hours

Safety Check $15.00/check
(by Nursing Assistant or other personnel)

Medication Set-Up*

A nurse will organize the medications so that it is clear which need to be taken each day.

Medication Set-up (Nurse): 1-5 meds per day $160/month

Medication Set-up (Nurse): 6 -11 meds per day $245/month

Medication Set-up (Nurse): 12-18 meds per day $330/month
