Our goal is to ensure residents are safe,
feel comfortable and live a healthy,
happy and fulfilling life at Taos Retirement Village.

Designed for residents who need more day-to-day assistance than independent living, assisted living accommodations are intended to provide staff and programs that support and assist residents with activities of daily living and basic care in a homelike setting.

Taos Retirement Village is the first and currently only facility in Taos and the surrounding area licensed as an Assisted Living Facility. Because we value our residents and strive to provide the best care possible, certified nursing assistants are on site 24 hours a day, with a licensed nurse on site or on call at all times. The assisted living facility at Taos Retirement Village is cozy and intimate, providing a high staff to resident ratio and ensuring your loved one receives the care and attention he or she deserves.

A care plan is created specifically for each resident through the coordination between the Inter-Disciplinary Team and family. Our goal is to ensure residents feel comfortable and live a healthy, happy and fulfilling life at Taos Retirement Village.

Assisted Living Services included in Base Fee:

Licensed caregivers 24 hours per day

Private room

Pharmacy and medical supplies

Medication monitoring and management

Housekeeping and Flat Linen Service – Once Per Week

Safe environment including grab bars, emergency call system in each room and sprinkler system

3 meals daily (customized as ordered by a doctor), with assistance if required

Snacks throughout the day

Gas, electric, water, trash, cable television and WiFi

Medication Consultation regarding pharmacy needs

Personalized Care Plan

Full Life Enrichment calendar filled with a variety of daily activities, outings, classes, musicians, social and cultural events and celebrations

Comfortable Dining Room

Scheduled Transportation to Doctors appointments, shopping, beauty shop/haircut appointments and to various community events

Exercise Classes

Community TV and Music Rooms
